i dont give a fuck. i personally find smaller parties to be more fun, and have better dj's. soon i'll be 19, and i'll be able to attend good shows at *gasp* clubs, instead of hitting up raves all the time anyways.
good riddance, plaza. i only went once, so maybe i'm biased.. but there was too much stupidity occuring each time a party went off there, not saying it's any better at "small parties" but it doesnt happen on such an immense scale due to the amouint of people there. pluuuus... i find the whole "infoline" dealio for smaller parties to be kind of exciting. checkpoint, to checkpoint... it's part of the suspense - then you get to the SICKEST venue that you haven't been to yet and you're like "ohhhhh booya!" haha. whatev'. the 'scene' won't die, it'll just change gradually until it turns into something else. raving and 'the scene' is HEAPS different than it was years and years ago. so who's to say that the death of this ""scene"" won't result in the birth of a new, more interesting one? meh! |

I really dont think the loss of a venue is gonna kill the scene...
people dont go to parties cause "the plaza is a nice place".. they go for the music (or the drugs) or whatever so i'm pretty sure if people still want to party they will go where ever there's gonna be a party |

Either way...people are always gonna be looking to have a fun time...so the scene will never die...but from what i see...the scene is growing again. But thats just moy point of view. I also think the underground scene is gonna be back in...more fun too, true raving so to speak, checkpoints, ghetto and clever venues... itll be a surprise everytime. Thats just my 2 cents.

trust me, once you guys turn legal age, start going to Dj shows in good venues ( aka Sasha/Tiesto at Commodore, and Donald Glaude/Seb Fontaine at Sonar ) you'll wonder why you ever went to a rave.
be happy it's going underground. Raves are dying, but the scene couldn't be more alive. |

just because the plaza is dead doesnt mean the scene is dead too i've had better times at a party that wasnt at the plaza of nations. oh no.. you'll have to keep an eye out for parties now.. No more learning about them on the radio stations! OH MY GOD NO! |
