WOW -I was accepted!!! I'm so excited!!!
Yesterday I was having one of those - I"m going nowhere in life moments
I hate my dead end stupid paper shuffling job..some of you know what I mean
I was really feeling stuck in some dead end
and then two lovely things happened

One - I got a date with a hot boy (*hand claps* woo-hoo)
and more importantly
I got my letter of acceptance from the SFU teaching program

Seriously my head is going to blow up from happiness - I didn't think i was getting in
like a 100 some odd folks apply and there are only 32 positions
I was mentally prepared for rejection since the application deadline date in January - so seriously yesterday was a real surprise

THAY WANT ME!!!
I'm going back to SFU
another degree!!!!

I think i frightened my roomate with my supreme yelp of happiness after i opened the letter

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's awesome !

Mostly because i think kids will be really lucky to have someone like you as a teacher. When i talk with you i recognize quailities in you that some of my favorite teachers who kept me out of trouble had.
You will make an excellent teacher,and a wonderful role model, friend and confidant to the kids you are trusted with. Congrats maryah. You are one of the truely good souls.
