Getting new bindings....
Ok two weeks ago, my dad dropped by my place cuz he had a "surprise" and it turned out he got me brand new burton free-style bindings. This shocked the shit out of me, as I never expected it.
NOW that it's RAINING...and the snows beginning to hit the mountains...I'm getting WAY too excited to get up and board my ass off! CYPRESS anyone!?

Big White opened 1/3 of the mountain in late October. Supposedly the fastest opening of any resort in North America in history. Well.. I dunno about 'history'.
Anyway, I'll be heading up there for a trip staying at the youth hostel on the hill. costs about $55 for a nights stay AND lift ticket. I'll be heading up the week before Christmas. Why then? Kids are still in school, people are shopping and NO ONE will be on the mountain. I've done this for the past 3 years and I swear there are only like 40 people on the whole place during the day! Just make sure you don't get caught in a cornice alone!
