^ Ya they reallyt need to fix up transit instead of just raising the fares but keeping everything as shitty as it is.
It wasnb't this bad in 96. I could catch the owl service 150 at like 3 am and still get home. now if i miss anything past 1am i'm screwed

I'm as guilty as anyone for having been behind the wheel while DUI.
I've been lucky not to have been in any accidents and made it through a few roadblocks even. Recently I have realized how stupid I am for doing this and have decided to crash at a friends place to sober up or pay the cost of a cab, hotel room to do so. I don't want to be one of those that have to take a significant loss due to an DUI incident before I open my eyes and change my ways. Just close your eyes and think about how it would feel to lose someone that you hold most dear due to another driver being DUI or evern worse, while you are DUI, and I think you might understand where I am coming from. I hope some of you can make the same decision now as well.

i hav known many ppl that died from drinkin n driving or speeding! i would nevr get into a car with sumone that wasnt ok to drive! its not like it cant happen to ne one .... ppl are so naive to think that its ok to get in a car with a drunk driver!

thats tru.. it affects other drivers ... pedestrians ... maybe if ppl would jus smarten up we wouldnt hav these dumb driving regulations! i prolly wont be drivin till im 22 now!

for someone who is so close with mike and his friends... i find it a bit funny how you don't even know what happened??? he didn't pull the e-brake because he thought it would be fun.... he was coming down pipeline at 150km an hour past the spca.. didn't see the median... johney yelled for him to turn he swerved into the oncoming traffic lane to the left (thank god noone was out at that time) and he then locked the brakes and slid into the tree..... and they hit the curb before the tree... and thats what sent devin through the back windshield saving his life.... if he was wearing a seatbelt he would have died for sure.. his side of the car was totalled..

Everyone hears different things..and that was the story i got.. not alot of ppl wanted to talk about it to begin with.. i wish it wasnt true at all ... But if thats the story u got then either way its horrible to hear.. Mikes death could of been prevented...sadly though... i guess it was just his time to go ...

tonight was probably the most saddest, and one of the most horrible nitez ever....it never really hit me until tonight..i went to mikes viewing.. it didnt even seem like he was dead.. all i could do was sit there an listen to all the ppl cry, and think about the times shared with him.. For the ppl who do decide to drive drunk or on drugs or anything...PLZ think twice about steping into a car and driving. or even doing anything like that..if you can barely walk, then wat makes ppl think that they can drive... im not gonna sit hear and type about how its wrong and wat not..cuz i'v driven with ppl who were drunk and high.. all im saying is.. before doing somthing like driving with a drunk person...jus think wat mite happen.. think of the consequences.. even if its stupid who cares..if it saves ur life..then w.e!

I think Drinking and Driving or even bein drunk or sober and gettin in the car with sum1 who is drunk is 1 of the stupidest things in the world. 1 I know what its like to be drunk so I know whats goin on in there head its bad. So Please people be smart walk or take a bus or cab or call sum1 sober and we wont hafta talk about this sad subject so much

I've had 3 friends die in the past year for drinkin and driving, I definitely think twice about getn into a car with n e one thats had anything to drink. I 'd rather walk home and get home safely then drive with a a drunk driver who's risking my life and the lives of others.

What disguts me is that some of you say " oh i wasnt that wasted so i was ok to drive home" how the hell do u know how wasted you are???? alcohal clouds your judgement. Just because you arnt falling on the ground hammered, doesnt mean that you arnt impaired enough to pherhaps miss that stop sign or run that red light... Everyone should re-evaluate drinking and driving and getting in the car with someones whos been drinking.... just cause they say they are fine to drive doesnt mean thats true!! they are the one drinking for christsake! Id rather call a close friend or family member to come get me at like 3 in the morn then get in the car with a drunk driver. yes your parents might be pissed at first but chances are they will be proud of you for making a responsible situation.
