Last night I went Night Flying for the first time with my friend. And wow, I must say that at 5,500' over Vancouver at 11:00 at night is simply amazing. You could see all the way across to Nanaimo. A little more incentive for me to finish my Night Rating. :trippin: On a seperate note... at work today I got to fondle one of the sexiest pieces of Airplane I've seen in my life. A real WW2 P-51 Mustang Fighter. It looks almost exactly like the pic I attached for all of you non-aviation types. :) I think I need to go change my pants...

Ive been to the British Air museam in LOndon. lotsa cool fighter planes there.

i love flying, i started to get my private license a couple years back but it's quite expensive so i had to stop. i'll finish it eventually.if anyone wants to go on a trial flight, pacific flying club down at the boundary bay airport offers them for somewhere around $30 for a 1/2 hour (i think - it's been awile for me). i recommend everyone try it! it's so much fun cause they actually let you fly the plane.

Yah, Professional IFR offers Familiarization Flights for $35 as well. lol Although PFC has a pretty hot girl working Dispatch on Tuesdays.

lol as soon as I get checked out I have a feeling that I could post a Sign-Up Sheet. Help me pay for the rental and I'll take all willing vict...passengers up for a rip around the Valley or something. Or maybe if three people want to split a two day rental, buzz over to Nanaimo or Victoria for a Party. (I of course wouldn't be drinking 8 hours before we leave.) :) I hope to be checked out before the end of the Summer.
