most of u dont know how selective our army is. well, it selective. kinda.
anyways, i have succeeded in passing all their tests. In fact i almost made officer (but couldn't because you need 1-2 years military experience now)

What a retarded thing to say. Find me a Canadian soldier that "kills other human beings for profit". Say that about the Yanks, I could give a shit less, but Canada is not about that. And degradation is global or regional anarchy - something peacekeepers are trying to stop. I'd be ashamed to be that ignorant.

P.S. To all you voters out there, remember that the Conservatives wanted to follow the US into Iraq. Sure, it was partly because they were the Official Oposition, but Harper still thinks we should have gone.

Did you join reserves or reg force? what unit?

*why didnt you go ROTP? or i'm assuming you dont have a degree yet which is why you couldnt be an officer.*

im joining reserves 15th artillery.

i didnt try to be an officer because they said that without several years of army experience it would be unlikely that i would be selected for an officer position. Which is to bad b/cbeing a lieutenant woul be sooo cool. im going to transfer to officer after a year if im still in the forces. with this election coming... anything could happen.

Blah, you know what they say about Officers... lol You don't want to be one of them. Sure you get to look pretty with all the Gold and get better Food, but as an Enlisted man you get the satisfaction of knowing that you actually do something. :)

either of tose would have been great for me. my second choice was medecine... i wanted somethign where i larn more than just combat skills.
