Shambhala...

Out of curiousity, who's coming out for Shambhala this year? Have you been to the Festival previous years? What did you think? Which stage is your fave?

What do you think of the Lineup? (http://www.shambhalamusicfestival.com/lineup.php)

If you have Shambhala stories, share 'em!

(Can you tell I'm bored and staring at my Shambhala ticket this very moment?)

"life changing" is what I hear from many many people. It certainly changed mine - hell, it's where I first got to know my current roommates.

from what I heard it wasn't so good last year (weird vibes), but everyone's saying it promises to be better this year. I cant really make a judgement, since last year was my first Shambhala.

Ticket prices actually aren't so bad this year. I paid $150 for an advance ticket last year. At the moment, prices are still at $100, and are only going up to $125, with the exception of the door price ($150). They're super cheap before Christmas... $80.

Not too small. Midway is WAY smaller! Hehe. Grand Forks is actually bigger than I ever thought it was. Your perspective changes once you move somewhere.

You should name your camp and make a sign so I can say hi (and happy birthday). Lol. We just go by "Camp GF".

Good luck, I hope you get the time off. Shambhala was the ONLY weekend I took off last summer. I worked 6 days a week....Tuesday-Sunday.

Thats too bad. But it's not for everyone. ;) I was born and raised in the Kootenays, and started partying in the Koots, so it's got that feel of "home" to me.

I saw lots of info for it, and the line-up looked wicked.

I guess it's the financial responsibility. Can you get that much time off work?

Wow, I wish I'd had the chance to go to Shambhala back then. ;) Are you going to miss this year as well?

Well, for me it's not such a big deal because I don't work weekends. So in reality I'm taking only 2 days off (3 if I decide to take Thursday or Tuesday off). The lineup is going to be killer this year.

Cant wait to tear up the dance floor at Ewok Village again this year...especially during Lorin's set. ....mmm....Lorin.
