well, if cops wanted to bust every single party, they could easily go to malls and other stores and pick up all the flyers there and then call the infoline on the day of.

its pretty hard to avoid but some ideas mentioned could help

I agree with the cops about breaking up a party due to a fire hazard. Some parties that I've been to are way too packed because the promoter just wants some cash, or hasn't made enough so they'll throw about 30 extra people in. No one can move, no one can breathe, and fuck if there is a little punk who wants to light something on fire, how do you get 500 people out two doors ?

Also parties should be better ventalated cause there are so many drunk/high kids that may just pass out.

Cops arnt that smart, they are actually quite stupid, so if you remove the basic ways they find out about partys thats it they are stuck.
They would never be smart enough to know about FNK etc

personal opinion is if cops really wanted to bust parties flyering or not they can find out if they really wanted to. What is so hard about them grabbing a flyer at the local ticket outlets or whatever. this has been mentioned but just what my thoughts are

DON'T show up at the checkpoint or the party wearing a bright yellow hoodie. When you get _to_ the party, by all means wear as much bright flashy gawdy clothing as you want, but KEEP IT TIDY. Don't go around advertising "I'M GOING TO DO DRUGS AT A RAVE" to every single random person on the street. More often than not it's the ravers that are every bit as responsible for a bust than the promoters.

Flyers are cool. Just about every single rave since the dawn of time has had flyers of some form, and a lot of them are very easy to be found. But have some kind of check to make sure that whoever's going to the party are people going to the party. If the partykids keep it tidy, the cops have _very_ little to go on. They can't just randomly search any kid that goes to the checkpoint. Shuttle Busses are also great because you can get a driver who knows how to take circuitous routes and lose the cops if they think they're being followed.

But seriously. Let's stop hating on the promoters and start cleaning up our scene already. You all can do stuff to make sure that the scene stays thriving, but it's not on the Promoters to make everything happen for you.
