I wasn't surprised... lol Good tool for people that are unfamiliar with the Candidates though. I think everyone should vote... now the excuse of "oh... I don't know anything about the parties" heh heh this'll tell you who to vote for. :)

Definitely gives some summary to what the political leaders are canvassing for...

But we all know that political promises are never kept.

eh i did it again more carefully and it says i should vote for martin, but good ol jackie was a close second...i guess i didnt read a few of the questions right..

but anyway i still stand by my opinion that voting for layton is like voting for harper because it's spliting a more leftist votes on a party that dosnt have a chance in hell of doing anyhting other then a possible tie breaker in a minority government

another edit: ithis may be a little outdated too cuz i went to martin's bio and saw this "He lost the 1990 Liberal Party leadership campaign to current Prime Minister Jean Chretien."..not that it makes a difference because there havent been any major policy shifts in the last 6 months

^ You sound like a jaded left wing burn out.

Read the NDP's platform this year, Jack Layton is a godsend. I hated them too after what they did to BC , but Jack Layton as the leader of the party has so many good points in his campaign.

And as for scarface, anyone who got "Harper" as their ideal choice, is just as insane as he is. The man will be the end of Canada as we know it. What great things happened last time conservatives were in power? Oh yeah I remember, we all got GST , and isn't that fun.

cheebus not a chance...im pro buisness, anti union, pro freetrade, and fiscially conservative...im more of a civil libertarian(with a tiny bit of a social conscience) then anything.... so paul martins policies almost perfectly reflect my ideology

i absolutely despise the ndp...they really dont have a clue, federally, provincially, no matter what if they get into power they will fuck things up, and making things worse for ever one no matter what class, well, unless you're a civil servant or a member of a public sector union that is.

and harper isnt like the progressive conservatives who gave us G.S.T and free trade, all that shit dosnt matter, his policy on healthcare(which should be privately operated and administrated yet publicially funded) defense, tax cuts allt that shit thats not whats really bad about the guy because those policies wont be really that bad for the country in the long run..the worst part about him is he's a religious fundamentalist, i have people like that in my family, they're completely fucked and see everything in black and white, and the fact he's willing to impose his on views or those of the majority on minority rights and other "moral" issuses is the scariest thing about him.

p.s the only thing about layton is he's charismatic, and can sell his ideals, yet they still are the same assine policies of past New Democrats..

VotE NDp!!!

Let's all vote NDP.
Hopefully they will eventually take power and we can become like Argentina.
Overnight we can enjoy seeing the TSX drop 40% and watch as our dollar drops below 50 cents US.

Yay Stagflation. Yay NDP.

Yay NDP (part 2)

NDP exploits the poor by tricking them into believing their policies work and will improve their standards of living.

Once they get into power, the poor get welfare cheques instead of pay cheques. The middle class gets EI and the rich just leave.

This one is a little bit better - it breaks down each policy choice you selected by party that supports it:

^

As opposed to the conservatives, who make sure the rich keep getting the fat cheques while the poor and young get screwed (who's paying for Bush's tax cuts, for example? Generations unborn, thats who) - but since the poor and young can't up and leave like the rich, they're stuck getting fucked.

I'll take the NDP alternative anyday (well, except monday when I vote Green).

Funny fact of the day:

Jack Layton was mayor of Toronto for a whole ton of years (7?) and he ran a balanced budget for every single one of those years. To put that in perspective, that means he's got the best fiscal track record of all the leaders (weird, huh?) managing an economy roughly the size of British Columbia's.
