The Queen: Yes or No?

It costs Canadians $.06 a year to have the Queen as our monarch. Do you have any problems with that? Do you have any allegiances to the Queen? Would you take a bullet for her?

I like the idea of having the Queen as our monarch...it's really just a tradition-based thing, and with all the loss of tradition going on in the world these days, I think it's great that England (and us) keep the tradition of the monarchy alive without giving them any real political power.

The Queen is actually quite helpful, because of her we can go to any British Embassy anywhere in the world with our Canadian Passports. We still get the bonuses of being in the Commonwealth with the free rule of our own Government. :)
