Pay As You Go Cell Phones!

K i want a really good phone...but i also want something thats not going to cost me 100 bucks a month like it is now....
Can you have text msging with pay as you go....?
and who would u suggest I use as a carrier?

i think your best bet would be to go for the fido 3 months contract where u pay summin liek 40 bones a month and u get unlimited air time.

However your first bill is like 120 bucks cuz of hidden fees but hey whatever after that its liek 40 or something.

Pay and talk phones are great if you want to be spening more then 100 dollars a month on phone cards:) Its not cheap at all. Its actually best to stick with a plan cuz thatd way youd be saving more money and getting way more features for the money your spending.

i had pay as you go, and it was good and bad.
it was good cause i wouldnt have to worry about hvaing to pay a bill by a specific date

but it sucked cause it usually ended up costing me just as much as its costing me now on a plan


i say stick to a plan


if you go to telus they have like three months free everything, and at teh end of that you call in and they see when you talk the most and such and set up a plan that will work for you...and make it the cheapest

Pay as u go is a rip off!!! u will end up spending WAY moer then u r now...believe it or not. I had pay as u go like 4 years ago n it sucked I ended up spending over 60 a month...n i didn't even use texting.

if u really are gonna resort to pay as you go then use fidos. dont even bother with telus or rogers pay as you go beacuse it is a rip off compared to fido. not like fidos is great but it is the cheapest

^ is there any way you could find a friend, or cousin or someone to do it for you? telus and bell have online billing [the others probably do as well, i justdon't know for sure] so you can get your bill online. that way whoevers name it is in, won't even get a paper bill and it's just up to you to pay it.

pay as you go is meant for people like my parents who use about 30 minutes a month between the two of them.. if they're lucky. haha

^ ahhh never EVER sign up for automatic payments. they are EVIL.

i don't know what else. i guess it's just a risk they take when they do that. my dad did that for me since i couldn't get my own phone.

i have telus pay as u go kat and u can recive messages and if u want 2 add text messaging i think its like 5$ 2 add not that bad and then u get some deal or something just go down there and talk 2 them and see what they have 2 offer... i do spend quite a bit a month though 29cents a minute goes fast
