Do you wake up in the morning and hit yourself in the head with hammer each morning? You have said something progressively dumber every fucking day since your worthless carcass started posting on this board. At this point, Doom is honestly surprised that you can actually string together enough characters to make a word, let alone a sentence.... |

doom needs to explore some other message boards, i know people from other places that know vancouver just for the plaza of nations. If you think it isn't a big deal, think again. Underground are okay, but if you want to put vancouver back on the map, get a new venue. plus i liked how plaza was always legal (cept that one time they oversold but whatever). Getting parties shutdown before midnight for 10$ is lame.

plaza was great kuz it never got busted. you were guranteed things.
i go to a rave to party, not to see shit get shut down and be proud of going to an underground rave. that's fucked up. if i wanted to pay $20-$40 to attend a party that gets shut down at 1am when it's supposed to go all night, uh.. ok. if i was a drug dealer, sure. plus for you people that like big parties: those that attend small parties don't give a shit if raves get put back on the map. for their part, they'd rather see it not put back on the map ever again. so they can have all the fun in the world in their small underground raves. If you think it was a big deal your stunned. Who the fuck cares if vancouver is on the map, that doesn't make a scene.

Yea i miss plaza as well. The vibes at the parties are definatly way off form smaller parties but i dont miss plaza for its vibes i miss plaza as a venue and i had alot of memories there form the first plaza rave held ther to the last. The venue was nice, had multiple floors with escalators, easy location to get to etc...

I don't miss the PoN because I never went. Why pay $40+ for a DJ that'll play the exact same style of music as the last DJ when I can pay $30- at Sonar to hear a DJ play something completely different than what the last DJ played?
I.... JUST.... DON'T.... GET.... IT! :076: Oh, and for those who're about to respond "Well, the clubs close so early!", I have two words for you: free afterparties. :361: |

Example paying 70 bucks for plaza party for a little jungle, or paying 30 bucks for 4 headliners at sonar for a dnb tour |

Really, though, I could have gotten in for free if I really wanted to go to a Plaza party. This rant is more for the general populace. I just dislike massives in general. No intimacy at all. |

^^^ ns? massive=/intimacy but you get to see a higher quality party, better venues (most of the time), setup, lights, sound, DJs etc. 10$ extra is worth seeing DJs that dont come back for months at a time and meeting new people.
