Seattle Parties....
Seattle parties are just wierd. Vancouver Parties are just way better, ppl are just friendlier.
I've been to two Seattle parties(Cresant and LaygoLand) and they were really really schetchy. Nobody dance, some flailing goin on but that cool :288: ,to me its more a like a concert ppl just jumping up and down pumping their fist in the air. The best thing about Seattle is that have good dj's at there parties, but after that i think there parties are just bunk. :021: I'm gonna try a different scene in the summer, Oregon or Cali maybe? Anybody been to a seattle party?Opinions? PhatisPhat :035: |

Definitly!
YEs..seattle Parties totally SUCK.
The VIBE over there is so strange. I used to go out with a DJ who lived in Seattle... and went to a few parties there... and i started dancing... and they started coming up to me and complimented me so much about how i dance so well and so to beat and so cool. There like..where r u from? Im like Vancouver,....there like....o thats why! Yes..its very 'strange' over there. :288: |

Yah i kinda found a lil vibe difference. I went to Freaky Nite this last halloween. I found it alot like my first party. I was in a strange place, with ppl i've never seen b4 in my life. But after i got to talking to a bunch of ppl its was totally cool. And since they don't dance they make circles around the ppl who do. The great part is, no one down there has ever seen vancouver style dancing. So its kinda like show em what we got goin up here. Still they don't compare to sum of the parties i've been to up here. Not even close

Yeah, we do have the odd nice 'raver' but still the cruel ones are the majority. Personaly I prefer parties that are small.. And not over rated and advertise on the corner of Robson and Burrard. C'mon.. it's like making a life style a friggen fad.. Right now.. the newbies are here for for the first couple months.. the there gone.. not that I'm complaing. it's just do something that interest you not.. something that will make you 'cool'... yeah.. I think i'm done rambling.. |

Wow, so many different opnions on this subject. Mind you i've only attended one party in sea-town, but it was one of my best parties.

Another great thing is the breakers. There are good breakers at parties. Unlike the wack ones that attend raves in Vancouver. But when it comes to dancing to electonica, Americans kick the bucket. All they do is flare. Boo Urns! I seriously think we should plan a f&k trip to a Seattle party. :219: |

USC5 was unreal, the setup, the amount of people and the visuals make ANYTHING at the PNE look cheap. Yes... the Seattle people don't dance much, they more or less just form a ring and watch a dancer go nuts. But the breakdancers there are really good and really add spice to the party. I'll just make sure I avoid the buger and fries next time. :c-tard: |

seattle parties arent worse.. nor are they better.. they're just different thats all... we're just not used to them
in fact, i actually think the vibe at the party that i went to (freaknight) was actually a lot better than the vibe at some of the parties here and yeah, they dont do that vancouver kickstep so everyone automatically thinks they suck at dancing, but they dont! its true, most dont do much other than just jump around and -attempt- to do liquid, but some of the dancers there will just blow you mind... a lot better than what ive seen in vancouver john 2899131 |

You can't really make an assumption about an entire scene through two parties. What if an american came up here for two parties, which ended bein not so good, and then made the assumption that our scene, sux. I can tell you there would be a ton of pissed ppl here.
Yo john, you ever thought about headed back down to Seattle for a party? |
