As long as the American's don't win Kenji I'm happy. It's fun for them to think they'll win and then the Aussie's come in and kick ass.
Yeah, the hockey will be very good times but besides that I can't think of too many things I'll want to go and watch. I think going and watching the swimming live would be so much fun. |

what a competitor...playin with a broken right thumb ON HIS SHOOTING HAND... mad respect goes to him for representing his country especially when it could jeopardize his career... not like some of the other nba stars who turned down the olympics |

^ not necessarily...
some athletes in china get injured... e.g. they break some bone in their body... then the chinese govt. "forces them to recover".... forcing them to compete when they are obviously not healthy, just for the sake of having more bragging rights for china. that aint cool either... when ur country does not have ur best interests at heart. then these poor athletes break their bones again during olympic competition.... |

Ya but sometimes the nba stars are pussies and thats the truth.
i dind't say china i just meant players in the n.b.a. but ya alot of athletes play through injuries. Hell a japanese gymnastics member won a gold medal with a broken ankle i think at the last olympics or the ones before. Part of being athlete is how you face adversity but that could just be me. Hockey players will play through many injuries before they go on the D/L. |
