im 18 right now and i live at home. im already on a one year plan to be moving out with hopefully 2 good friends...to be closer to school and closer to where i enjoy myself. its going to be tough to move out, but ive been wanting this forever and i just want to grow up and be living closer to where i spend everyday. moving out will unfortunately lose my car previledges and tahts the only obstacle that im trying to figure out. i can't wait.

I was 18 and lived in Australia for a year on my own. I moved in with my dad when I got back just because of the amount of money I saved to pay for school and buying my first car. I thought about moving out when I pay off my car this summer, but my dad would still much rather me stay and save for school and wait untill I have enough saved to put a down payment on my own home.

Ill be turning 20 this year and I still live with my parents. I mean I travel for months at a time but my nest is still at home. When I finish school in another year and a half, I already have a job lined up and will be making great money. My parents and I plan on buying a even bigger house together in the near future. And renting out the one we have now. A lot of people think that living with your parents isnt cool (especially girls), or that your not independent. But I just see it as being smart. When my rents retire all this property will be mine. All my money will have gone into proper investments. Instead of being broke and still renting and acting "cool". Ill be rich and and owning and being nice.

looking at this thread...damn everyone moved out at a young age. if i didnt mind the inconvinience of where my parents live, then id move back home for sure. mmmm home dinner and having ppl greet me when im at home. i like where i am right now... a little more company would be great, but the privacy wins it over as well. |

i moved out/ran away when i was 15 (for a year) with an ex bf
decided it was in my best interest to leave him, wanted to move back home but i couldn't, so i moved to vancouver island and lived with my grandma for a few years(which is technically home)and finished high school then after that moved back home to go to college. its been 2 years, and im still home. ill probably be for a few years more, because after i grad with my fashion diploma im going back for kinesiology degree. |
