yeah be greatful you're healed =)
when i shattered my ankle practicing basketball i was pretty crushed... i really wanted to make the team but that pretty much was the end of that... it took me about a year to fully recover as well. i was still able to play rugby 4 months later but running was pretty difficult to do and i needed alot leg power for my position (prop). i guess i should of been more pissed off at that fuck who was the main reason i fucked up my ankle but i was more thankful than anything since i got the best medical treatment you could ask for in Vancouver. i have never met a more dedicated doctor till this day... or even heard of one like my orthapedic surgeon. |

My ex boyfriend's little brother is a rad skateboarder
he was booked to do this amateur cross canada tour which he was stoked on, and the weekend before he left he was in a skate competition and went really hard and broke his shoulder. needless to say, it was totally shitty for the poor guy :( cos he missed out on the tour! |

Definitely be thankful it healed and you can get back to doing what you love!
I broke my arm 4 times in a row, and the 4 time they didn't set it right, forcing me to have it rebroken and set and plated -- after the surgery, the pain, and the physio... it's worse off than it was was before. I played a large number of competitive sports and this not only put me behind, but it caused great difficuties due to my new and smaller range of motion :( I also played the violen and it would cause me pain where the screws were :( On the plus size -- if I ever get in a fight I have a metal arm! |
