personally, i'm a pretty big suv hater, and the suv and the domestic companies represent the big steps backwards that they keep making. while imports are making real strides in alternative fuels. once again proving why imports kick domestics' asses.

btw: yes i know import companies have suv's. but they are just adapting to the market, not creating one that isn't necessary.
yeah there also mostly based off of car platforms.

is this poll really nessesary. The imported cars are far better in every way, shape and form. Anyone who thinks otherwise, i will fight you.

this obviosly excludes the old domestics ie, the old muscle cars or ford and dodge, and pontiac, which are cool only because of the insane hp.

I didn't the know the british still made cars? I thought all of them are made my other car companies now? correct me if I'm wrong. At any rate I prefer imports not only for the general build quality but also the engineering that goes into creating efficient engines, ie 100+HP/ liter naturally asperated engines... I dont need a huge ass 5 liter V8 that does nothing but guzzle gas and look like a tank on the road. In this day and age I can't believe people don't feel guilty driving something like that as a daily driver.

I've owned a ford and chevy in the same category (sport coupe) and an Acura Integra. I change the oil regularly ....and thats it. So far I have had NO problems whatsoever. The monte and Tbird were a pain in the ass...things would go constantly. I bagged them pretty hard though , so i still haven't decided which i like better. The best part about the two domestics was the fact that they both had 200+ horsepower stock...But if i have to decide between money in my pocket and horsepower ...i'll take that cash.
