i was just watching on a japanese news report and it shows a group of kids on a team that are all trying to learn how to swing and run like ichiro.

P.S: Ichiro hit one against Zito and the A's. Only needs 5 more hits in 6 games. 1 a game and he's there

You walk him if there is a man in scoring position, especially if first base is open. Thus creating a force, and opens you up to pitching to a lesser threat.

does ichiro deserve american league mvp?? it usually goes to someone who hits 40+hrs, 125+rbi's but he won it before in his rookie year and he has better numbers this year. then again they were a first place team back then. a-rod won it last year, on a last place team but he had those power numbers i was just talking about...

if he doesn't win it, i wanna see sheffield win it. he's been playing injured all year. don't wanna see any of those stupid red sox win it (ortiz, manny). i guess vlad in anaheim has a chance too.
