How many people on this board hasn't gone to an island party??!?!!?!?

My name is matt and i own and operate Dizzy productions on Vancouver Island....

i've done shows in Courtenay, long beach, Duncan, Nanaimo, Saanich, and even a few stages in Vancouver for APEX.....

I'm throwing an indoor show on Saturday Nov. 20th, check the events section on 'island parties'....

if you do go regularly it must because you know the vibe...

if you dont'...how come? No rides, hard to get to venue, don't like it....or...never tried it?

7th-heaven will have a full shuttle to and from the ferry...check it out and post back what you have or havn't done and why.

I've been partying for close to five years (I think) and I've never been to an island party.
I really wish I had a good reason to say I've never been...but I honestly dont. I think I need to change this sometime

Seriously, check into 7th-heaven on nov.20th (pssst. island parties section)

tix @ the door are only $25! Not to mention shuttles to and from the ferry straight from the show.

Van shows seem soooooooooooooo expensive...sure there is bigger dj's alot of the time....but if your goin for the vibe...

hit up an island show, you will be happy you did!

Matt! -- Wassup bro?

The island vibe is un-matched. Frankly it slaughters Vancouver both at a party and in the club. EVERYONE parties... no one there is as critical as the peeps here in Vancouver -- they are out for one purpose... to have fun! (The way it used to be here.)

In close to 5 years I've only been once, and that was just this past year.

I usually plan on going but the day of something goes wrong i.e ride bails,money, work issues, shit like that.

I love island parties.....i am a bit biased since i am a island girl. I have been to many Van parties and club nights...and nothing compares to the energy and the vibe you feel from the island crowd....some funky ass booty shakin people on the islands....LOVE IT...i will be there on the 20th of NOV.

Duncan, Nanaimo, Saanich, been there done that. Island parties were real fun, some of the best times. This was back when I was super Raver. Now I find they are a bit unapealing really. Too much, get high, run around'sh (if that makes sense).

Don't read me wrong, Meowmix, Shaggadellic, Funkton, Island Styles, all rank as some of my best times. Meowmix definatly top five in recent years, but thats also based on the people you go with.

I would reccomend anyone who has never been, to go. You'll see what all the fuss is about ;)
