Actually i am far from illiterate. No, i did not miss the point. Look around at the world you live in, you have to expect the marketing of products. The glowstick is as much a memento as buying a model castle in london for like 20 pounds.

Taking glow sticks in to a party is not your right, you trade your rights when you walk in to their venue. They take glow sticks from you to make more money, like it or lump it. And if you have an issue with this, just don't go to their parties. Go to one that is not so much about money. This is if you care so much.

thats messed. our rights as a human being should be intact no matter where we go. we are paying our money that we work hard on to get them business to actually throw a party - I think is our right if we want to bring a glowstick - a water bottle - as long as what were bringing in is not illegal - we should be allowed to do whatever we want with our money. and that shouldnt be to just pay more to get their overcharged glowsticks.
were paying say 60-100 bucks on a ticket for spooky/doomz nite, we should be able to bring in what we want. without us there would be no party and they'd be out of business - so I agree a little more respect for us should be in the works!

Yea so,,, they get an other $10 out of you(or at lest a your friend). It's the dirty shit that's been going on in this city for years man. Heck I forgot to "clean" my back before apex. But they where too busy freaking out about my juice and a green camping glow stick to even notice the other shit.

Better yet I had my watter chucked before at a show I was working at. I had truck load of gear brought in but some how my drugs where going to be in my water.

Ok, I think security is a little too tight, and they should be less agressive when throwing away random belonging's of yours, weather it be glow sticks or not, I agree it is the principal, even though they don't cost very much at all. I just think you shouldn't make such a big deal about it, they always have them for sale at massives anyway. If you have to pay $3 more for them inside who cares, it's not a lot of money. I'm sure you've wasted your money on even more poinless items in the past. In my opinion get over it, forget about the couple bucks you lost on a few glow sticks and focus on actually having fun at the rave where you already spent $70 - $100 getting into in the first place.

my friend was vending this sho on sat, and she gave e this hella weird glowing thingy... it felt almost jelly like or somethin and was heart shaped on a necklace thing... haha, it had like red and blue blinking flashy lights in it.. i was like, whoa. this thing is hella intense.. haha
