Actually it makes perfect sense. Everyone has a digital camera or at least camera phone these days and they take pictures all the time. video still seems a bit impractical. the thing also comes with an attachment to watch the photos on your tv or monitor. and since camera are always coming out with more megapixels the thing would get obsolete fast if it included one.

im thinking london drugs right now is my best bet.. unless i can get something better off ebay or a good discount somewhere... 330 aint that bad i suppose....

my best friend has a mini and he filled his up within a week.
i have the 20g and i have 16.5g to go. with a ton of music.

in my opinion, if you are going to spend $330, why not spend another $75-$100 and get 16g more.

as for what i've heard about the battery life, i know there has been problems with the minis and with the 3generation ones.
When they brought out the new click wheel, the fixed up the battery. Mine lasts quite a while.

also I bought the extended warrenty. If anything goes wrong with the battery, they will replace it for free. No warrenty and it costs you over $100.

i love my ipod. i wish i waited and bought the u2 edition tho. oh well.

Don't go to LD. The $330 that you see isn't the actual price. On top of the $330 is another $25-30 in "media player levy", which makes it the same price as everywhere else. They aren't even supposed to charge it at the till. It's supposed to be included in the price from the distributers, but LD uses it as a cash cow (from what I can figure).

Buy it ANYWHERE but LD...Don't support their theft of our monies. ;)
