ok, i was watching this show they had on overseas about parents spying on their kids.
These suspicious parents would basically team up with the show and they would go around recording what these kids' did, where they went, and whom they hung out with..etcetc.. for a whole day. I would be upset if i were filmed secretly and then tevelised on tv for the whole world to see. So what are my rights? If i were a victim, what can i do?? Could i demand the tapes back and demand them NOT to air it... or is it their property and they can do as the please? would sueing be an option?? hmmm.. im curious..so what are your thoughts? |

I agree with Serotonin in this issue.
I think most kids take it for granted that they have 'rights'. Until you reach a certain age, you have no rights as your parents/guardian are responsible for your actions. Once YOU are held fully responsible for your actions, then you have rights. I may have been too general here as there are issues (ie sexual abuse) where you as a youth obviously have rights. |

i'm glad to hear that the tape could be taken away but not the parents taken away....but if they ever spied..i'd be really mad!!...where's the trust??..
but then again..i abuse the trust so yeah but stil...getting caught doin stuff would suck~! |

yeah seratonin and mchammered are so right. youths don't have as much rights as we'd like to think.
if they did that to me i don't think i'd ever speak to them again!! I'd disown them. i don't want them to find out about my secret volunteer job at the homeless shelter. cuz then i'd be in REAL trouble......... |
