Waking people up to what's really happening
Waking people up to what's really happening
The following is a "starter pack" you can use to alert your friends, family and colleagues. We have chosen five articles, a couple of government documents, two audio MP3s and a few main stream videos that you can download. These are just a few examples out of thousands that we feel are particularly powerful and conducive towards waking people up. So please forward this post to your friends! Articles Bin Laden's family link to Bush: http://prisonplanet.com/bin_laden_family_link_to_bush.html Incredibly, Salem went on to become a business partner of the man who is leading the hunt for his brother. In the 1970s, he and George W Bush were founders of the Arbusto Energy oil company in Mr Bush's home state of Texas. Time To Forget About Figureheads: http://prisonplanet.com/bin_laden_family_link_to_bush.html The left attract little credibility by their own behaviour and are obsessed by trying to bring down paper tigers that the establishment deliberately distract them with.Myopic liberals are better off staying at home because they don’t realize that it takes intelligence and not sheer numbers to activate political power. Article by Paul Joseph Watson Camps For Citizens: Ashcroft's Hellish Vision: http://www.prisonplanet.com/camps_for_citizens.html Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft's announced desire for camps for U.S. citizens he deems to be "enemy combatants" has moved him from merely being a political embarrassment to being a constitutional menace. Skeleton key to the White House: http://www.prisonplanet.com/240204_skeleton_key_to_the_whitehouse.ht ml ''The Hangman equals death, The Devil equals death, Death equals death!" It's weird to think that the two men who are now contesting the most powerful job in world politics, both apparently went through an occult ritual that involved dressing-up and chanting the words above, prostrate in front of a fellow student wielding a butchers' knife and dressed in animal skin. You are a suspect: http://www.prisonplanet.com/you_are_a_suspect.htm Every purchase you make with a credit card, every magazine subscription you buy and medical prescription you fill, every Web site you visit and e-mail you send or receive, every academic grade you receive, every bank deposit you make, every trip you book and every event you attend — all these transactions and communications will go into what the Defense Department describes as "a virtual, centralized grand database." Government/Official Documents The Northwoods Document: http://www.prisonplanet.com/northwoods.pdf The 1962 Joint Chiefs of Staff proposal to launch a bloody campaign of terror against U.S. citizens as a pretext for a war with Cuba. Kennedy rejected the proposal and was killed a year later. Page 10 is very revealing. Rebuilding America's Defenses: http://www.prisonplanet.com/Pages/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdfThe Project For A New American Century document written by leading members of the Bush Administration BEFORE they came to power. It outlines the need for a massive Pearl Harbor type event to justify war in Iraq, the Middle East and total domination of the world. Brazil
http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/brazil/index.html Focusing on human rights work in Brazil, our goal is to build stronger connections between social movements in Brazil and the US. Check out our speaking tours, human rights delegations, and educational materials about Brazil. Colombia http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/colombia/index.html Since 2000 the United States government has given over $2 billion of mostly military aid to Colombia. This "aid" has inflamed Colombia's 50-year-old civil conflict, contributing to more deaths, more kidnappings, and an increase in human suffering. The Bush Administration and hawks in Congress have repealed Clinton-era rules that prohibit US arms from being used to battle guerrilla groups and now US military aid to Colombia can be used in Colombia’s counterinsurgency war. These deadly policies must be reversed. US involvement in Colombia is expensive, ineffective, inhumane, and will not lead to peace in the troubled nation. Cuba http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/cuba/index.html In our Cuba Campaign section, you can access the latest information on the U.S. embargo against Cuba, particularly its restrictions on sales of food and medicine and on travel there by U.S. citizens; find out how to get involved in efforts to normalize relations between the two countries; and read about the Cubans' dramatic advances in sustainable development as they survive, and even thrive, despite the odds. Iraq http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/iraq/index.html In the months leading up to the invasion of Iraq, Global Exchange played a key role in the peace movement. Today, with the phantom weapons of mass destruction undiscovered and Iraq becoming a breeding ground for terrorism, it is clear that this war was a terrible mistake. Learn what you can do to keep the peace movement on the move. Mexico http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/mexico/index.html Mexico Program seeks to support Mexico's democratic movement through public education in the U.S. about the realities of Mexico and the need for changes in U.S. trade and military policy toward Mexico. In Mexico, the Program supports local efforts for justice, peace and human rights. Palestine http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/palestine/index.html The Palestinian-Israeli dispute is one of the longest unresolved conflicts in modern history. For 55 years Israel has dispossessed the Palestinian people of their homeland via territorial conquest, occupation and war. During the 1967 war, Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem. Since that time, the Palestinian people have been divided into three groups: three million living under Israel's occupation, one million living inside Israel, and four million as refugees dispersed throughout the Arab countries and worldwide. Afghanistan http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/afghanistan/index.html While the US government has failed to follow through with the political and financial support necessary for Afghanistan's reconstruction, Global Exchange continues to sponsor delegations to Afghanistan to learn about ways that the US public can support rebuilding efforts. Through our Afghanistan Sister School Project, US schools are raising money to help rebuild Afghan schools. In addition, pen pal and art exchange are giving US students and teachers an opportunity to learn about Afghan society as well as the history of US intervention in the region. United States http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/unitedstates/index.html When most Americans hear of human rights abuses, they likely think of atrocities in some far off country in a forgotten corner of the globe. And when Americans consider the idea of democracy, it's probably accurate to say that they think of our government as a model to be emulated. The reality, of course, is more complicated. Abuses against individuals' basic rights also occur regularly here in the United States, and our money-saturated political system hardly deserves the title 'democracy.' Guatemala http://www.globalexchange.org/countries/guatemala/index.html Although there is not a current Global Exchange Guatemala human rights campaign , it is important to keep abreast of the issues and history surrounding this vibrant Central American country. |

A 1 hr documentary on the man responsible for:
Unnecessary Vietnam war - Secret bombings in cambodia, secret negotiations with N.koreans... at end they signed almost identical treaty johnson had before war. This was to give him power and raised suport for nixon's failing approval rate. A coup of democratically elected official in chile and replacing him with mass murderer on sept 11, 1973. http://www.oilempire.us/anniversaries.html Illegaly supplying weapons to one part of Indonesia resulting in 100,000 dead in other part. He's Bush's choice to head the 911 commission, who's report is such garbage. They had govt politicians on the panel investigating govt involvement. That's like you being the defendant and the jury who finds yourself not guilty. (This is also the man who requested reduction of world's population. Shortly later AIDS, viral cancers and other diseases came out) indybay.org http://www.prisonplanet.com/the_nazification_of_america.html |

USA Patriot Act II would make news gathering a crime !!!!!!!
Body: Think the first Patriot Act was a civil rights and personal privacy tragedy? Just wait until you see Patriot Act II. Section 102 of the police state bill would make it a crime to engage in any information gathering, meaning that people who gather news headlines on the Internet would suddenly be deemed criminals and terrorists. Essentially, the law would destroy any last illusions of freedom in the United States. It would turn the USA into a communist-style police state, where no person is truly free. News summary: Source: http://www.rickieleejones.com/political/patriotact.htm * Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tex) told the Washington Times that no member of Congress was allowed to read the first Patriot Act that was passed by the House on October 27, 2001. * The first Patriot Act was universally decried by civil libertarians and Constitutional scholars from across the political spectrum. * 1. The secretive tactics being used by the White House and Speaker Hastert to keep even the existence of this legislation secret would be more at home in Communist China than in the United States. * The fact that Dick Cheney publicly managed the steamroller passage of the first Patriot Act, ensuring that no one was allowed to read it and publicly threatening members of Congress that if they didn't vote in favor of it that they would be blamed for the next terrorist attack, is by the White House's own definition terrorism. * Whereas the First Patriot Act only gutted the First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and seriously damaged the Seventh and the Tenth, the Second Patriot Act reorganizes the entire Federal government as well as many areas of state government under the dictatorial control of the Justice Department, the Office of Homeland Security and the FEMA NORTHCOM military command. * SECTION 301 and 306 (Terrorist Identification Database) set up a national database of "suspected terrorists" and radically expand the database to include anyone associated with suspected terrorist groups and anyone involved in crimes or having supported any group designated as "terrorist." * These sections also set up a national DNA database for anyone on probation or who has been on probation for any crime, and orders State governments to collect the DNA for the Federal government. * SECTION 311 federalizes your local police department in the area of information sharing. |

1. you're talking to a group of people who the majority spend weekend after weekend consuming brain degenerating drugs and consequently are excited by flashing lights and catchy bass lines. 2. these aren't government secrets. 3. Do you plan on waking 51% of the voting population up? I'd like to hear your ideas on achieving this? 4. Humour me for a sec, lets pretend people actually start to give a shit, what happens then? who runs the show, what policies would be put into affect to void or counteract existing circumstances? |

I understand, We are all fearfull to new changes in our world of civilisation, but lets not forget that theres constently changes in our system, just slowly progressing to our unsatisfaction instaid of freedom and Liberty, we don't always realise whats dramaticly changing in our world, cause our government is founder with Ignorants and Lies, don't forget that there only Dictator and no profaite...They do not know what we live in, they have no real open eye on our real world, what there are doing for our world is only estimated and not studied, there speaches aren't realy the true thoughs, its only a false vision on reality that they are giving to millions of people everyday....They do not care about America and the rests of the world, its all about money and power(comparable to mafia)... I don't think there is any paradise on earth, only that we have to learn what is bests for us, and resiste on what isn't good, there is rarely peace in what BUSH has done, and during his election menchened that he wanted a country of peace!!!What has he realy brote to the Educational system?, Social help?, Economical resource for the country?...etc I'm not the only one to say this... President Bush's Interests: * Leading our country into war under false pretenses. * Trashing the environment in any possible way for the benefit of big business (a.k.a. my campaign contributors.) * Erasing my citizens constitutional rights under a bill I dared to misnomer the Patriot Act. * Fumbling with the English language. * Billing myself as an education champion with my "No Child Left Behind" program, then horribly underfunding education. * Awarding billion dollar reparations contracts in Iraq to my good friend and VP Dick Cheney's favorite company, Halliburton Oil. * Discriminating against minority groups such as African Americans and Homosexuals. * Covering up my questionable past, which includes deserting the National Guard and running several companies into the ground. * Inheriting a national budget surplus and, in three years, turning it into a record $300+ billion deficit. * Scaring the American people into supporting me (You're all gonna die! The terrorists are coming!) Shouldn't History be a good exemple of abusive power...I don't think a few people should be in the possesion of so much power over so many people.. And you should know it..More Authority is not a solution just like war...concluding when BUSH is all about Authority and war! Last edited by maztraz; Nov 30, 04 at 08:15 PM. |

^^He won because of all the religious fanatics and conservatives from hickville, USA. The cancer of North America.
Although true he won by majority. I still don't trust his methods used in the elections. With his power and money...who knows what really happened... His visit to canada! ha!.. no adressing of the parliment.. Just a dinner were he was surrounded by people kissing his ass to open the borders to Alberta Beef, and talked about how great things were between Canada and the US. Meanwhile people outside the classy facade are smashing statues of Bush and protesting. Last edited by decypher; Nov 30, 04 at 10:05 PM. |

WAH WAH WAH... Be happy you're in Canada and Canadian... it could be worse, you could be a starving Ethopian Orphan. Suck it up and enjoy all the freedom you can.
P.S. Quit whining about George W., everyone is doing it, what is it some sort of trend now? :p I research Politics and discuss it, but only with people I know that will appreciate and understand what I'm saying. Like Goat said, adjust your content to your audience. FnK content should involve Crayons and lots of shiny things. |

lol don't get me wrong, Political threads are great. I enjoy the ones with content and valid arguments. But ones where people are cramming links into my face... annoying? yes! :) That and we all know how long it takes before they enter into the same old circle arguments. "Bush is Bad!" "NYAH NYAH NYAH" "Fucking Yankees..." yadda yadda yadda

WE need - Food - Water - Somewhere worm to sleep - Some warm cloths - Somewhere to wash our selfs atleast twice a week - Security - Caring, Sharing ,Attention and Love ..etc So now can you explan me why there is people that have way more than they realy need and spend in a holl life time, and other people that have almosts nothing to live with? I call this unstable system, there is many people that just fall down after one normal life, people like you and me, but our system is making us to dependent and that is very not helpfull for anyone of us, today we realy don't have the choice to depend on this system if we want to live in civilization, on don't find this normal at all....WE have to learn to find a good middle in everything''not to much, but not to less''.. 2nd what should be essentiel to a better progressing world? What we have to know firsts is that there will always be fighting over power, jelousy over material, come backs after wars, frustrations over Inegality..etc The question on that is now how can we stop all this? We can't stop it, cause its a spining wheel, but we can only resiste and do our bests to not give anyone more power then they realy need. We all know what Communism gave, and what impact it had and still does on the people, just imagine a 2nd world war with todays Technolgy and compare the earth population growing every day to before. There will always be more inocent victimes if we don't stop the powerfull abusers of our policies, more killings if we don't do something against wars, more Inegality, more Racism, more Opression, more Tyranny, more fraud if we don't show the reality and evidence to people(Exacly what some people are triing to do, and often get killed, put in Jail, Tortured..etc cause the people that are doing all this knows its rong(Check my 4th video http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2004/190704greatillusion.htm )) We have to learn and fight for something better for a world or better words...And learn over all from our acts for better acting.. 3rd Do I have any solutions to all this? There is always solutions, and we have to learn 'where 'when 'from what 'how and from who to take the right solution...(Im not the one that will be deciding for anyone here, cause we are all different by personalities, cultures, religions, habits..etc so we have to learn what is best for us and not always count on other..we have to learn to make up our own opinions and no only get it from others, or else we will never progress) We all know that education is primary to every living person.. We all know that nature is primary for our survival.. We all know how to say no and yes..just like saying if its painfull or not.. So what can we realy conclude from this? Acting for something better(and no perfection doesn't exists only progress and changes) Waking up 51% of US population! Its not about bringing to wake up people ..Its about to bringing them the truth and like I've said before bringing there ''true opinion'' on something better... I don't think there born ''Republican'', only that they were educated for being a ''Republican'' and do not know anything else about all that, those people live everyday like that, do realy think a small minority will make them change? The only thing we can bring is maybe sensibilise people to what is realy happening even if some people refuse to believe all this(US state is based on ignorance), and convince other peoples what is bests for them, this is not about war or fighting its about how to say ''whats painfull or not'' like en menchened before.... Do you get the idea!? Last edited by maztraz; Dec 03, 04 at 02:29 AM. |
