Both VERY nice rides. Supra's nice because it's way more finished. The Civic is nice because those guys seem so damned proud dyno'ing that ride that they probably spent a lot more time on it than the Supra's 'i want everything' mentallity. I dunno, i appreciate care over being baller and just buying everything for your set-up (including stickers).

Dyno tuning is boring tho, they should had a clip of them taking the Civic to the Strip. that would've been nutz because it does sound pretty ballz.

dissapointing video. thought i was gonna see a 553hp on a strip or something along those lines. showing the computer testing it out at 553hp means nothing to me.

Note the Torque numbers... sure it's got a lot of HP, but it's gonna take awhile to get there. My Stock 5L has like 270 lb-ft of Torque.

Utterly undrivable? There are tons of FWD Drag Comps, and plus, this thing wouldn't be that much of a bitch on public roads. Wheel hop for sure, if not corrected properly.

This isn't reasonable for most Tuners, but I have seen a ton of Focus' converted to RWD.

Well, if these guys did some real work, they would be able to "soften" it nicely. The SRT-4 with the Stage 3 kit is a recipe for TS, but get in and drive one and you would kick yourself in the ass for even thinking such a thing.

Convert a Mustang to a 6.5L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel... that would be a crazy project. Tune it nicely, not only can you do the quarter in 10 seconds you can tow your Boat!

heh
aaaww jeaaah, huge turbo diesels!
when my brother was last out @ mission there was some old skool dodge ram with dualies with a 5ft smoke stack that ran a 11s flat 1/4m, covered the entire strip in black exhaust, and to top it all of it was driven by a chick who went by "Big Rhonda"

This things makes me drool everytime I look at it. These guys got a 12.7 second 1/4 mile. That's with grip limitation and bad driving thrown into the mix. This thing is a lot faster when driven properly.
