Those with unpaid Impark parking violation!
Imperial Parking (Impark) is offering a one-day , 4 hour event during which anyone in the Vancouver area who has an unpaid Impark parking violation notice can have it waived by making a toy donation to The Salvation Army.
On Dec. 20, Imperial Parking will be accepting unused, unwrapped toys from Vancouver residents. In exchange, Impark will waive each doner’s unpaid parking violation notice. A single toy donated will waive a single unpaid violation notice. Those with multiple unpaid violations will have to bring an equal number of toys with respect to the number of Impark parking violation notices they would like waived. Doners must bring a copy of their violation notice(s), statement(s) or their license plate number in order to ensure proper credit of their account. Impark will be accepting toy donations on MONDAY DECEMBER 20th 2004 between 7am and 11 a.m. at The Salvation Army Belkin House at 555 Homer Street (between Dunsmuir and Pender) more information here I have 35 unpaid IMPARK tickets, you know where I'll be! I refuse to pay any parking tickets from Impark! Why you may ask! It's realy simple they are not legal entitled to ticket your vehicle. I've fought this in court and won and now they don't even bother arguing with me. I met one of the owners from Impark and told him that basically if they managed their lots better and had machines that weren't working half the time then they wouldn't have as many issues. They are having some pretty crazy issues right now with how they obtain your drivers information. It's turning into a huge freedom of information argument that has actually hit most provincial goverments agendas. I would like to say what a ncie thing to do but in actual fact they are purely doing this as a PR move which I think is low!
