Select a window and hit Alt+PrintScreen and it will just take a screenshot of that window.

One more reason I like Linux:

Hit PrtSc or alt-prtsc, and it pulls up a window that says "Save screenshot" and lets you save a .png

Then pull up GIMP, convert to JPG, Huzzah!

well I've already done my screenshot by the advice of the first responder, but thanks for dumbing it down.
