Anyone watching the Tsunami Relief Concert?

What's with Avril's hair?!

The long, curly, blonde locks REALLY take away from the whole effect of her being a rocker (or trying to).

Anyone else think she needs to return the hair to Jessica Simpson ASAP?

All the artists are actually singing, no lip-synch. To their credit.

Shows how important the final mixing work is, to make their stuff sound so good on CDs and music videos. Apparently they use something to bring the vocals back on-key and it's a common thing even with big names.

I don't think Avril should bash anyone for lip-synching.
In fact, I think she SHOULD lip-synch because it would make her sound a HELL OF A LOT better.

^ I kinda agree. But it's great that they're giving it the effort.

Makes me think there's sometimes not that much difference between the live sound of star performers or bands and the little and unknown bar bands & singers.

Except the stars have a big record company with an ace remixing crew to polish things up.

^ Very true.

Although, I have heard some really, really great bands live who actually sound BETTER in concert than on their albums, eg. Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind.
