Maybe if it didn't happen at an aboriginal high school then people would care more. When 8 people die in a high school shooting it's usually front page news.... I think it ranked for page 16 or so in the Province this morning. I think that's sad.

People need to learn how to respect life a little more and actually hurt a little when they hear about this sort of stuff. I didn't know these people or their families but my heart goes out to them. I guess I'm just not as jaded as some others... at least not to the point where I can laugh off 8 murders like it's nothing. It's a horrible state of affairs we're in when something like this just ceases to be important. :(
