sugarlab kabam: lost überbabe records uncovered

Vancouver, BC and Los Angeles, CA – Progressive media company sugarlab has uncovered a repository of lost historical records, including narrative, graphic and audio recordings, that portray a radically different version of official planetary history. sugarlab has advance released, in free digital format, the first of its findings: “uberbabe [same as it ever was]: the lost book of everything [or something], volume 1”, and its companion musical recording.

The first volume traces the lost memories of überbabe around the 20th, 21st and 1st centuries. From Germany, 1915, where überbabe is treated for shellshock by Dr. Alzheimer; to 1927, where Hitler, refining his vision of a new Germany, waxes obsessive. Then to Nagasaki, Japan and the dropping of the atomic bomb. Fast forward to America, somewhere south of now; an aging party boy come politico gets religion, his own vision of a new America illuminated by a distant television. Enter the enigmatic Danger Cat, symbol of a dark and ancient calypso coming to a chaotic climax. Meanwhile, back in Jerusalem, Jesus and friends ponder the end of days and simian evolution. Tune in now for the beginning of the end of the beginning broadcast.

Says sugarlab chief Lisa Voldeng, aka the lady überbabe, on the document release, “Prologue. Prelude. Lead-in. Overture. Knockdown. Drag out. Shoot ‘em up. Take ‘em out. Whack down. Batter up. Drink the stuff. [Open sesame.]”

The documents were interdimensionally translated by Lisa Voldeng. Rebecca Dart, Fish Griwkowsky, Gerry Fournier and Jack Duckworth provided graphical interpretations. Musical translations by DJ Cody Lee Williams and Elad Marish. Rick Torres of Supreme Beings of Leisure assisted with a special channeled remix of “Where is the Disco Platform?”

The full graphic volume is now available in pdf format. The companion soundtrack is available in mp3 and weed format. All media files can be downloaded at:

Use keyword – uberbabe.

The print volume/record package hits book and comic stores in July.
