oh and if u think thats abusive:
i was the sharks club one time and got harrassed by three different bouncers and waiters for wearing a hat in there one time. they didnt say anything until i had been there for hours...and then they wouldnt stop... they came and yelled at me, they came and embarrassed me in front of my friends and strangers...and then they grabbed me by the arms and dragged me out of the place...not letting me tell my driver that i was being kicked out, they would let me go back in to get anyone so i waited outside bymyself for an hour...bawling my eyes out while they laughed at me. turns out: girls are allowed to wear hats in there i dont really see where you think this guy was being abusive to you, he got a little pissed off...and so be it...maybe he's having a really crappy night. how can you say he's on drugs...just because you have friends that act the same way. maybe he's hvaing a bad day...who knows what could have happened to him before he walked into work that night, sure i still dont think it was good of him to treat you like he did, but i still find this silly that its over a watter bottle...and if you had that much trouble and got kicked out...that leads me to beleive you were saying more than what you're telling us...cause if not...why not ask for the manager and have it sorted out right then and there?! my fave line "People in the electronic music scene are the last one's to start a fight " you're kidding me right?! i cant even being count how many electronc music parties i've been to where the people have: pulled knives pulled guns started fist fights sprayed mace swung a 2x4 at people coming out of the party fought with broken beer bottles sure the e-tards may just try to hug u to death...but still...people start fights...doesnt matter if they rave or not. i say suck it up.. if u still have a problem...write a letter or phone the manager. |

Like a cop you cant talk back or argue with a bouncer. As soon as they see ANY sighn of trouble they will warn or kick you out right away. It may not make it right as we all know some bouncers take advantage of their power and can act really anal.
Ive worked at a bar before and know that if anyone says ANYTHING thats disrespectful I have every right and the back up to have them kicked out or refuse to serve tham. Face it when you dealing with drunks all ngiht your not goign to have alot of pacients. My advise for next time is swallow your pride and talk to manage ment about it. |

I've been a resident plush go-er for over a year, they even know my name! Not once have I seen a staff member being a dick (well, one of the bouncers) but he told us to put out our cigerettes in the VIP area, and well - he was new, so he didin't know we could. Sorry it sucked. |

I've gone to Plaza numerous times and I've had loads of fun except for one. The bar staff is great, but their bouncers are another story.
Still, I don't let that taint my view of the club. There's always risks that you take when you go out. Your situation does suck, but trust me, there are much worse things that can happen to you. |
