hmm, not true in some points there.... morely like they have nothing on me.. but maybe are looking for something because of a rumor?maybe they want to catch me doing something rather than arresting me without any evidence? either or... doesnt really matter, it probably was a coincidence |

A "tap" on a cellphone is as easy as duplicating your cellphones ESN and waiting for the ring. Just try to use simple codes, like meet at Timmy's to pickup the kids means meet at Tim Hortons to pickup a Oz. Like seriously, use your head, you never know who could be listening. You only have to worry about being tagged if your growing and or if your selling large sums of other kinds of drugs in which case you wouldn't be talking about that over the phone unless it was code like "lets go pick up 4 quarter pounders with cheeze from mcdonalds"

Maybe I should have spelled it out as "MAYBE IT IS YOUR FRIEND'S PHONE BEING POSSIBLY TAPPED INSTEAD OF YOURS". Jeebus have mercy. |

most cell phones in cities are tapped on a regular basis to check up on people. my friend used to drive around deliverin weed, only thru spread of word among groups of friends, and he would get obvious calls from cops "can i get 40 dollars worth of marijuana?" and one time made a deal and a cop was already nearby and followed him for a while right after the deal. etc if you are any form of dealer makin lots of calls on a cell you will be found out. if you call up your friends and talk about drugs and shit, and aren't selling, don't worry about it.

haha you guys are awesome.
"if you hear clicks, your phone it tapped" YEAH MAYBE IN THE 70s!!!! thats an old mob tale people. those clicks back then were them switching over the recording tapes. obviously things are done with digital equipment these days, so there are no more "clicks" or anything like that. and unless you are selling kilos (and if you are, you would never talk such stuff on a phone anyways, duh), you have nothing to worry about. cops would never waste such man power listening and following some little raver kid around, haha. you are not that important. |

this happend before when i was in Prince George, what a super sketchy situation!
I was on my cell phone talking about meeting someone at a secluded gas station at around 4am....and there was no way any cop would have known we were there unless they tapped into the cell phone conversation. We pull into the gas station, and immediately 2 cop cars pull up and surround both vehicles. We were interrogated, ect ect, but they couldn't legally ask to search our cars because there was no reason for them to pull us over in the first place. We were let go, but totally wigged out. The ONLY way they could have found us that night, is if they tapped into our phones. I found out the next day from my roomate (who's dad is on the PG RCMP), that the police squad cars have scanners that can monitor local cell phone calls in the area. They are allowed to do it, though they can't use it to search or arrest you for any reasons because of the privacy act. With land-line telephone connections, I heard if you hear light clicking/tapping while you're on the phone, it means your line is tapped. You can call the RCMP and ask them if your line is being monitored or not, and they legally have to tell you yes or no. |

All electronic communications, whether they're cell phone or email, in North America are now monitored by Carnivoire. Carnivoire is advanced recognition software designed by the CIA to filter through phone calls, scan emails, etc. in search of words like bomb, president, al-qaeda, etc., solely by machine. These convos are then recorded and further investigated for links to terrorism.
It's a complete invasion of privacy, but the Department of Homeland Security just doesn't seem to care. Imagine that. |

the nsa has had all communication monitored for almost 15 years now. it actually only flags terrorist related words, or groups of the words together i should say, so don't worry about drug talk on those systems. they would never catch you with that because its actually illegal to use in court in relation to drugs and such. only things related to terrorists would stand up in court using the camivoire or the echelon systems.
