I agree with you. If I remember correctly most of Germanys Youth were Members of the Hitler Youth. You have to understand the way that Germany was then. It wasn't really a choice, it was an expectation, doing a service to your Country. They all believed it, right or wrong. You can't hold the fact that (if he really was) a member of the H.Y. against him.
