I was in London, last October.
The 2nd "hotel" I looked into, in Earl's Court (my old neighbourhood), had a BIG picture of Whistler/Blackcomb covering the front of their check-in desk. When I asked him WHY they had that up, he said they got a lot of Canadians staying there. What are the odds? I stayed there, because he offered me a great deal. Better than some of the others in the area. What a _DUMP_!!! It was only one night. PS I grabbed one of those "Mind the Gap" t-shirts!!! Frosty (missing London) |

central london is great, but too expensive compare to vancouver. we went to knightsbridge yesterday. discovered that the average narrow run-down looking house in the area cost ~2 million pounds. (4.5 million canadian dollars) the good looking ones are 4 million pounds and up. |
