I was reading through the Povince today, and it turns out that the fate of the Plaza may not be written in stone after all. There was an article on page A28 regarding what to do next.....! As many of you know, the building that we have all come to know and love is not the only part of the Plaza, but a 1/3 of it. The city still owns the Plaza and as a result of it being run down and partially empty, they are considering what should be done next with the complex.
The article states what the Plaza has been used for, including raves. They are inviting the youth down to an open house at the Vancouver Public Library to make your opinion heard. They feel our voice is the strongest as we use it the most! So I thought I would let you all know if you want that venue back, you should do your part and make your way down to the VPL.
