you need to get stuff tailored.
there's a lady on cambie and 16th who's amazing. I brought her a pair of pants I wore in grade 10 (back in the high waist days) and she totally redid them and made them into low rise. but that was a year ago when i was a size 27. =*(
when i start making money i'm going to get all of my stuff tailored. we have the same problem, but on different ends of the spectrum.
spending the extra 10-20 bucks to get a skirt altered to fit your height, or take a dress in to fit your proportions exactly will give you that extra bit of confidence and you'll realize that it's worth every penny.
same for shirts. you can get them tailored to fit your waist and chest and look ten times hotter if you paired the look up with a classic pencil skirt or something.
get a few pairs of custom made pants before you go away. although you might have better inseams in europe.
i have this pull-out from an in style or marie claire somewhere that lists everything you need to start off a basic wardrobe.
yeah, it was the arm.
