Drivers License?

i was wondering how much time would it take me to do my drivers license in BC?
Cause I know that in Quebec theres a 8month delay, and im really not motivated to wait 8months if the law is the same in BC for that....

Could anyone give me more details, or just a link that can give me that kind of information straight..

I wanted to take it as well, but on October 6th 2003 the rules changed. Now it is gonna take you 9 months to get your N if I remember correctly.

Are the rules still like this ???

as soon as u turn 18 you can just go take the test without any classes r anyhting.

there's pretty much a graduated licensing program throughout all of canada.

When did you become the authority on Canadian licensing? No offense, but our laws and guidelines are so different then yours.

L for 1-2 years depending on when you get it
N for 2 years...

in my case i had my liscence suspended during my N phase so my N counter restarted and im fucked til im 20...

what do you mean by counter restarted? you go back to your L or does your N have now a different date as to when you can get rid of it...

^ haha 3 years...

We only had to have our N's for a year, i was like a few months off after the time they brought in the N, and i had my N for almost 6 years now. Just got my class 5, although i didn't have passenger restriction or anything, so there was no real point in my paying the money to get a class 5.

Hmmm...if this was directed to me....
Actualy you only need a international License, and you can pretty much drive anywhere in the world(theres maybe just a few exceptions) ''according to the International laws''....
The drivers license here is around 1000$(international license not inclueded) if the laws wern't so dumb in Canada for Drivers license.. I'd probably passe it in Canada, 9months is to much .....:)

I was thinking of that the other day....

Is it possible to do my drivers license in US even if I don't live there....?
