I'm not saying these theories aren't true, and I'm not saying they are true... but the thing that strikes me as odd, is that every single one of these pages are poorly constructed. The websites always look like shit. Odd colours everywhere, oversized text, bad backgrounds. If they want to look legitimate, why don't they put some time into their sites, and make them look legitimate?
Just a thought... |

If you want an interesting read on Evangelical "megachurches" pick up this moonths Harper's. Interesting read about Colorado springs as the center for this movement. The hardcore fundamentalists believe they are at the beginning of another "spiritual war." Very disturbing to read about these fanatics in power controlling the religious flock as a means to achieve their partisan political goals. What's more disturbing is that GW Bush takes advice from the organizations lead pastor.

its good to look at this kinda shit, just to get you thinking, just don't go too overboard with it..
my neighbor is a TOTAL conspiracy theorist... and he seems pretty normal usually... but.. like one day, he didn't go to work because he thought all the construction that has been done lately (on his building) was really to implant wires for explosives.. im like DUDE, you can't live in fear. ALL the conspiracy theories can't be true. |
