Creepy story - Old broken down BC ferry.

What a creepy fucking thing that is! Anyone actually driven up to the thing? First of all, it's on the fraser river, on the way to mission, not sure of the hwy, but it's a major route and you can't miss it!

So there's this crappy dirt road going up to it I found, got out, and there was a bunch of old broken boats and a giant creepy old paddlewheeler boat. Anyways, the car entrance to the BC ferry was gated off with barb wire but one door was open, so i'm like hells yeah I'm going to check it out. SO I was walking up the ramp and this dude jumps out from around the corner and is like 'this is private property' and I said 'oh, I'm just having a look... whatcha doing here?' the guy said 'living'. So I was like okay fine. As I was leaving, some dude walks by me with his dogs and goes into one of the smaller broken crappy boats, THEN, I hear this guy choke and puke into the water and I promptly got the fuck out of there.

I told my buddy and he went out to have a look too, it was pretty nice out that day but he said just as he walked up the ramp to the ferry it started pissing rain and thunder & lightning, so he promptly got the fuck out of there. He said the gate was wide open that day.

Anyways, does anyone know the deal with that thing? I'm sure lots of you valley peeps have seen it..

It's totally weird and erie. I don't get out there much but might go have another look on Wednesday..

I have no idea what area your talking about.

I'm seriously pondering this one.. and the only area I can think of is by the albion ferry.. but thats not on the main highway[lougheed].

No no, way past that.. it's a hwy that runs along the fraser river but way out mission/abbotsford/chilliwack way.. I think it was four lanes, like i'm talking, past stave lake and the dam, etc. Like you CAN NOT miss it if you're driving east.

Yeah you know if you're going east you pas the dam and the lake with the ski-jump? then you pass all those gas stations in the middle of no-where? About 10-15 mins past that of what I can remember.

Like it's really weird, but there IS a road leading to it. Mind the cows please. Seriously.

I dont think it could be in black circle cause thats like a ditch on the one side and the water area isn't very big.. and on the other side is all cabins and that where that sky ramp you spoke about it.[i use to hang out in that area a lot with my friend stacey.

the red circle... possibly... I know theres massive ditches around those areas filled with water... but yousaid you had to follow a dirt road to get there. so did you have oto go over a bridge.. sorta type thing.. to get over the ditch out there.???

No I don't think so, it's right on the fraser. It's a bit off in the distance. I don't think I crossed over a ditch, i think the road led straight there.

Remember kids if you do plan on checking this out, the turn off is really hard to see, so when you see the ferry, slow down, because you go from like 100k to 0 in like 6 seconds! hah, oh and niether me or my friend saw ANY private property signs.

I can't believe no one has checked this thing out before!
