i went there for a couple weeks, that's not even 1/10th as bad as it gets!! all the big open intersections are just big random jumble of cars goin every which way.. it's seriously fuct.

once u get used to the flow of things,
it's like drivin in any metropolitan city.

aside from petrol price and damn countless toll booths on the highways,
i quite enjoyed drivin in france.

the metro system in paris is so good and so extensive you don't need to drive.

i'm pretty scared about traffic/road conditions/driving in some parts of asia where i'll be going.. i've heard bangkok is ridiculous, but nothing will prepare you for some cities in india (calcutta, chenai, etc). yikes.

I've been to lots of cities w/ underground transport systems, and, HANDS DOWN, they are the best way to get around!!!

New York, Paris, London, Munchen, T.O., Barcelona...

It's the fastest way of getting around.

Sod the bus routes!!!!

You're still stuck in traffic in those, double-decker, or not!
