So Maybach (of ridiculously luxurious sedan fame) decided to make a ridiculously luxurious coupe. Of course they wanted it fast too.

and it was.

700HP from a Bi-Turbo'ed V12 took it up to 351km/h
(of course at this speed they had to do things like seal the wheels off to avoid the turbulance ripping the sheet metal off...)

I dont think that you'ld wanna be ripping through the city with a 700hp carbon fibre car. Theres a huge difference between race track performance vehicles and everyday life cars.
Adding in that the vehicle has to pass certain safety tests before being street legal.
