Florida has awsoem lightning every day in summer u get a nice storm its awsome... Only lasts 30 mins aswell

Growing up in Onterrible, we'd get some pretty amazing thunder-booomers!!!

I'd spent many a night, spliff in one hand, drink in the other, just watching the lightning and listening to tha BOOOOOOOM's!

What I _DON'T_ miss is the tornado's!

Every bloody year, growing up, we'd have them, at one point or another!

Been through 3, myself.

But, nature's light show and sound fx are unequaled!!!

haaha ya, i did. I got hit with a powersurge. all my computers rebooted besides my laptop which ran on batteries.... there goes my 129 day uptime on my gentoo box :(

haha i remember the light was flashing for couple seconds, then i heard a loud roar and my computer rebooted

I was in the elevator of my building ... somewhere around the 11th floor when the power to our entire block went out. The elevator seemed to plunge about 1 or 2 floors and then come to a sudden stop. It wouldnt respond to button presses. So after about 5 minutes in the pitch black elevator, it finally started moving again. it happened 2 more times on the way down to the lobby. T'was quite intense
