I know one thing... if you drop Boris Vallejo in google, you'll get some amazing shit...

It's as easy as typing *fantasy* in google under pictures... finding someone who's hosting a wack load of those pics, and going through them one by one, you'd be surprised at some stuff you find.

Nice pics. I'm really into Ruth Thompson lately. I have even thought of using one of her dragon lithographs as a starting point for a tattoo design.

most of that was seen in D&D books both for the games and novels - a lot of them being from Dragonlance.

They always had some pretty incredible artists working for them...

Kandyapple - you can tell when women paint women from when men paint women... women turn out much sexier when men paint them... because men exaggerate a little, everything that they like in women... whereas women just draw women... the way they see them. I dunno what I'm talking about anymore...

pick up the "wheel of Time" series by robert jordan.

another good one is "a game of thrones" by george rr martin.

i could go off on alot of other good authors, but i'm lazy.
