How do YOU Mouse?

well, my trust Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 Finally packed it in, so I have to buy a new mouse. What's the recommendation nowadays? Should I just get another Intellimouse Explorer? Is wireless worth it? What about Logitech's offerings? for the sake of argument lets say I'm gonna spend >$60 on this

I have a Logitech MX300 wired optical mouse, cheap ($20 on sale), works great, although it's a slightly smaller mouse. I removed the click spring on the roller so it's clickless and very smooth (those wheel clicks bug me).

They have the MX500 fullsize version of this mouse for sale at Future Shop right now on the tables where they put the bargain stuff: $15! Probably being discontinued. These mice were $50 - $60 a few months ago. The MX500 has several extra buttons that you can use if you want, mine has one extra button but I never use it.

A wired mouse is more reliable, no batteries, no wireless receiver thing to clutter up your space, & faster response than most cordless mice.
