Sleeping In.
Man, I used to take this shit for granted. Especially when I'd finished University and was, umm... "between jobs" (AKA doing nothing but staying up till 4am every night watching World Cup 2002 and going to clubs)... was a time when I would sleep till noon and not think twice about it.
Well 3 years of getting up at 6:30 or so every day will change all that. Bloody internal alarm will wake me up on saturday and sunday morning at 6:30 or so, going "WAKE UP WAKE UP OMG YOU'RE LATE... oh, silly me, it's Saturday!.. ha ha my mistake."
And usually I'm unable to get back to sleep.
WELL NOT THIS TIME.
I went to bed at midnight last night. No booze, no going out, totally committed to sleep. And yet my stupid fucking brain woke me up at 6:30 sharp. But I didn't panic. I got a book, I had Drone Zone playing, I chilled out... and went back to sleep!
Holy shit do I feel good now! I think I can actually feel my re-generated cells all pumped and ready to go.. they're like "So what should we do today sir", and I'm all "LET'S GO GET FUCKIN DRUNK AND MEET BITCHES, YEEAAAH"
I don't know, this is probably my worst post ever, but I don't care, I'm so happy, I love you sleeping in.
