Better yet, if you speak English, why not get "hope" tattoed onto you in English?
My little sister wants to get this elaborate phrase in sanskrit written on her back. I think she's nuts - what does sanskrit mean to her? It's a dead language! A tattoo is something you'll have for the rest of your life - it should be deeply meaningful, on several levels. If you can't speak, read or write Japanese, why would you want to have something written in Japanese on your body? |

I have been wondering this for a while... I mean if you are just getting it cuz it looks cool in that language, you might not like it later...
Tats are a pain in the ASS to get removed, and when i say pain i mean PAIN. so just make sure u think bout it real good b4 you do it. Maybe pick a language that has osmething to do with your heritage? or at least one you know what the words mean? iono.. |

Tattoos were cool before everyone and their dog started getting them. If you're going to get one make sure it has some sort of meaning to you. It's life long so you don't want to end up with something you'll hate in 5 yrs.
The whole asian character, tribal armband, butterfly on the small of the back deal is PLAYED OUT!!! I mean if you TRULY want it and it has some sort of deep meaning to you then by all means but if not..... you're just a slave to another fashion trend. The only problem is that when this fashion trend is over you'll still be stuck with a relic of the past. YOU'LL BE SO 'LAST SEASON' |
