I'm a manager, it's the p/t employees that make close to minimum wage! |

I'm a bartender...are you going to tell me that I can't afford the car I drive or the clothes I wear because you don't think I make enough money. Who are you to say that Nat doesn't work her ass off to save for things she'd like to buy? I've always said...buy what you'd like. But I'd rather buy something that isn't going to fall apart after 10 wearings. |

mmed. i know for a fact that retail managers still don't make THAT much money. you can't pretend like the money for the glasses came out of your daughter's lillipop money. But that's really not the point. fakes are stupid, ugly, and well...FAKE! galaxie - 1 lounge - 0 |

It's all good, nice shades, they are pretty. Actually when it comes to jeans, they actually do fit better, basically it all depends on what you are buying, some people like to spend on the real thing, and others don't, it's all your style. Personally I have a bit of everything. I have the real thing when I really like it and the fake for when I like it but don't want to hurt my wallet.
Anyways, cute shades :D |

Retail is a funny business - some managers make shitty money, some make really good money, it all depends on what company you work for, how valuable you are to them, and your numbers. Ash, I think Nev & I might be going to Portland instead! Portland = 2 days of shopping, no taxes, and waaaaaay more outlets than in Washington (read: I <3 Puma outlet!) Huzzah! |

i find that alot of the time in ladies clothing you get what you pay for. the female body is a very beautiful and most times hard to fit obect. no female has the same dimensions or curves and i have always found that when im willing and able to shell out extra cash on clothing its always much easier to find something that fits and looks good on. i used to think jeans were jeans - any brand would be the same until someone gave me a large gift certificate and i picked up a pair for $100 and they were the best fitting and longest lasting jeans i owned. even survived art school. i also find shirts tend to have better proportions as well. but im a broke ass artist, so i dont always get the chance to buy the best, but when i do, oh boy do i ever.
for me personally - i treat my sunglasses like shit. they usually wind up going into the pool with me, or get thrown down on the beach, tossed around in the car, so i dont like to spend more then $20 on them. i baught a beautiful pair this year for $25, and i lost them in a month. just yesterday on my home from tofino boyfriend and i stopped on the side of the road to jump in a lake, and i left my sunglasses on the shore. baught some new ones on the ferry. |

hehe sounds like you go through a few Mugsy. i agree with you on the jeans thing, i've had this one pair for so long and they are so comfy. you can tell that i've had em for a little while but they'll still last me atleast another year.
