it took me 10 minutes to learn how to do it.

and it took me 5 hours to get good at it.

its really easy the key i found is to find the point where the clutch catchs and then youre good.

as soon as you get a feel for the clutch it's easy peasy.

I learned in a peugeot on a dirt road in europe, takes about an afternoon.

I'd suggest before trying any hills or anything, get in a wide open area, put the car in first and practice just engaging the clutch without any gas applied, that will give a feel for the point that the clutch grabs. You're going to be stalling out a lot while practicing it; but as soon as learn the engage point of the clutch everything else is smooth sailing.

You work at MF Tech? I picked up my new bumper/skirts there last weekend... Seemed almost too cheap.. I hope they fit ok :S

Anyways, i was the slowest standard learner... I had troubles for probably about 3 weeks, then i finally got the hang of it.

exactly, probly the hardest thing about learnin stik. is finding the point where the clutch catches. it takes a day or so of practice to get comfortable, you begin recognizing sounds n shit the car makes that clue you when to hit the clutch or gas or whatever. heh. i have an easier time doing it than explaining it.

Born and raised on standard.. To the point where when I first tried to drive an automatic, I actually had trouble unlearning enough to do it.

The only rule really is to practise somewhere where you can completely fuck up, like when I practised in a big ass parking lot in Richmond when I was 17.

all by feel. Feel your car and feel your shifts. Malnipulate the two values (clutch and gas) to bring your car smoothly upshifting and downshifting. When your pro enough you can rev match!

YES by feel, don't look at your gauges. Keep your damn eyes on the road and FEEL the car dammit.

Bahahaha word.

You can't practice at Richmond Center! They have customers!

God forbid you enter Yaohan... Only an expert driver can extricate him/herself from that madness :-|

N (Nismo?) style

For some reason when i held the bumper up to the front of the car with the stock bumper off, the sides of the bumper seemed to be too wide and didnt meet up with the fenders properly, kind of worries me :S

well the bumpers are fairly flexible and will usually bend into shape before painting...
