How the hell does pilates hurt? Part of the reason I prefer it over yogo is becuase its not so extream or painful. Next time dont push your self so hard silly. Double check what kind of class your in too, maybe your in an advanced class with pp who know how to really push them selfs. If you try a more basic or introduction class it shouldnt be hard at all. Personaly I love pilates as even just 5 minutes of a few moves leaves me feeling great for the whole day :D

^ weird? My intruscter had us doing it for at least an hour straight. I think she planed it out really well as she was constintly rotating what muscles we were working on and doing the proper streaches for them after. We always had a modified version of most moves too if we found it too difficult. We also gradualy learned harder and harder techniques over a corse of 3 months. Not once did I ever feel major or harsh pain. I think a few ppl did after the first class, but never complained after that.
Just make sure you do proper streching before and after working yoru muscles hard. |
