AGROparties & Memories!
There's a lot of new people on this board, but a lot of familiar faces......then there's a lot of oldschool peeps from all the way from the LoungeX days
I was thinking........how many people actually have been to AGROculture parties? And what are your memories of them. I think some of them were pretty legendary. What do you think? Remember any reviews? if so post em! A lot of you don't know that all this started by accident. To make a long story short, I took a picture of some random dude on the street. It stayed on my wall for years. I thought it was funny so I named him Wendel and started making missing posters. I took them to raves, making new missing posters every week. I named the dude Wendel. I made Wendel Bucks, Pornstar Wendels etc. I had everyone believing that Wendel was a party coming up, really it was just a joke. But people wanted to buy tickets! So I found a way and threw the party! 5.5 years later and I'm still going strong! I also remember the dayglo with slip and slide really well, haha i even remember me and pennywise eating sushi with Adrienne(daisy) and her friend before we went to that thing. And all the colourfuol party kids and people making candy on the grass at the art gallery.

Oh man Dave. All the AGROparties that I've been to I have thoroughly enjoyed myself, always a shitload of fun with a great vibe.
Although, I still can't entirely remember the 2nd half of Brush Your Teeth.  Where's Wendel rocked, sooooo much fun. Sexy Sexy was great, loved the whole pj theme- I wore my angel jammies and brought a stuffie. hehe. Dayglo was interesting- ravin during the day always is. :p Also, I went to one of the Groove's, it was fun while it lasted even though it was damn hot and sweaty in there. Oh yeah, and I went to Talk-sic Tues alot as well. Lookin forward to Enigma!! :D

I loved Juicy it goes down one as one of my fav's ever. I just had an overall awesome experience as I was sober I enjoyed it as much as I have ever enjoyed a party.
Kick it was an experience and a half. Though I was a statue for most of the party haha. I loved the first kiss 2004 more than 2005. The first one just had more appeal for me i guess. so many memories. Best I can say about AGRO parties is I MET ALOT of the people I know on these boards now at AGRO parties and talksic tuesday's and friday at the spanish

Juicy was one of the most memorable an unique parties i have ever been to.
Kick It was a true specimen of what raving can and should be. I made some life long friends that night. And who can forget the weekly that got exposed me to my favorite genre of electronic music first (DnB) Talk-Sic Tuesdays. Thanks Dave for throwing some sick parties that have kept true to the party itself.

wow, some of those are before my time..i didnt even get started until 2001 begin of 2002. but i remebr being taken to talk-sic tuesdays, not knowing what was REALLY up/
But i remeber Costco Water runs for Ghetto Blaster and i remeber sitting on the upper level of the spanish watching girls asses in the mirrors below.

oh yeah I forgot 2 other events
1 was on a big white pedestrain bridge near Science world. We shuttled about 80 people in a car from the burger king on main street to the top of the bridge. The music was loud enough that it could be heard in the Main Street McDonalds parking lot! We just set up sound and hoped for the best! I can't belive it didn't get busted. Awsome lil party! The other one was on a contruction site near Edmonds Station. Kids were playing on the tractors and dump trucks. Police came with dogs around 330 am. Sketchy!! haha They were fun though. I forget who spun at those parties though, Good times! To be honest without trying to pat myself on the back I think thats why when I throw massives they've got a ertain edge to them. Because I'm ghetto! haha no matter how much money I put into a show or how big the dj's are, I understand what the people wanna see and how they wanna party So I've always attracted a cool crowd

I was there A LOT, I was at just about every talksic tuesday from the very begining and every AGRO event for a few years at least. Tons of memories, lots of really crazy times with Dave (and we were always drinking the canadian club), my mom getting shoutouts on the brush your teeth flyer, prank calls, toni tulamello, bear hunts, handing out year old spooky flyers at the spanish, bartending at juicy and meeting fprincess (L), working coatcheck at the first kiss when I was really sick with laryngitis and all that (seeing vinyl ritchie rock in that party with four crates of records on a dolly was also fucking rad), boopty's post e depression, the raddest ghetto flyers I've ever seen anybody do....GHETTO FUNK BABY 4 EVER ! haha Dave, don't forget the time that you guys brought a bunch of the crew from anticon for a hip hop show at the spanish, that was kind of cool too.

I went to Kick It which was one of the most amazing night's I've had partying, and Sexy Sexy 2. I think an agro party would be the only kind to draw me out to Vancouver these days.
(I still think Dave should have a party on the island...it would be a wonderous thing)

Kiss 2004 was fucking sick, the theatre room was completly decked out and rocking all night. Probably the most fun I've ever had at a rave.
