Burns Bog Fire!!!!!!!!!!!

well, apparently here in coquitlam we are getting all that fine bog smoke, so i decided to take some pictures while i had the chance, and while the sun was setting to make things look a bit more dramatic

heres a smokey pic from coquitlam looking over at surrey. on a normal day you would be able to see everything pretty clearly, especially downtown surrey or "central city" as some like to call it.


well here it is, its quite hard to see it, but yea thats central city behind all that smoke, its even harder to see now at 7:45pm. when will this thing stop burning?


and last but not least, a pic of the sun that would normally blind the camera, i carefully took this from my car while i was driving back home, trying to avoid accidents from the burns bog fire fiascos

it smelled soooo bad downtown today.. and it got hella smoggy around lunch time you couldnt even see down the street.... must suck for people with respiatory problems!!! yikes!

Good ol campfire/burning bog smell. There was ash all over my car when I left work today..

Im kinda surpised, wasnt it relatively damp b/c of the rain weve had over the past while? I overheard something on the news about the bog being the largest piece of undeveloped land in canada within city limits or something?
